Sunderland Christmas Lights Switch On 2013

It was estimated that 1500 people attended the 2013 Christmas light switch on in Sunderland. Gus Poyet, Head Coach of Sunderland AFC, switch on the city's Christmas lights.

The evening kicked off the start of the Christmas programme and after the Switch On event, thousands of people enjoyed the Christmas Village in Market Square and the illuminations in Mowbray Park.
