So. Tyneside summer parade

Know as one of the biggest carnival parades in the North East, the hugely popular South Tyneside Festival Summer Parade took place on a hot Saturday's summer day and for the first time ever we brought all the action live across the station.

More than 2,000 people took part with a mix of professional carnival artists from around the country joining a huge cast of equally talented community groups and people from across the region.
