Great North Run 2016 Highlights

It was a great weekend of sporting events for the region. Stage on the newcastle and Gateshead Queyside, the Great North 5K, mini and junior Great North Run along with the Great North City Games returned on the Saturday of the weekend. The main event itself the Great North Run saw a massive turn out of runners and supporters for the 13.1 road race from Newcastle to South Shields
